About me
Alan Gruszka, known as Ssefreh, i'm a Paris-based creative designer and photographer. Working between graphic design, portrait photography and more experimental personal projects, i move across these disciplines with ease. My clients and collaborators are as varied as his formats, ranging from corporations and brands, to charities and other various organizations, each with its own codes, audience and stakes. Whether i'm designing an identity, capturing someone soul's or shaping a brand’s visual universe, i brings the same attention to detail and the same instinct for what a moment needs to say. “My work holds true meaning, only if it reaches people’s souls”, as i say. A product of immigration, i place meaning at the core of my work. I aspire to reach people’s hearts through every image i craft, and i keep a personal practice alongside my commissions, where my questions around identity, belonging and disalienation take center stage.
